Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Ghumne Wala Chicken (GWC), we take great pride in the quality of our food and service. We want every customer to have an exceptional experience. This Refund Policy outlines our approach to refunds and cancellations.

1. General Policy — Stall Orders

All sales at our GWC stall are final. We do not accept returns of food items that have been prepared and served.

However, we stand behind the quality of our food. If you experience any of the following issues with your stall order, please speak to our crew immediately:

Food is not prepared as described in the menu

You received the wrong item

There is a quality issue with the food (e.g., undercooked chicken — we take food safety seriously)

In such cases, GWC will at our discretion: replace your order at no charge, or offer a full or partial refund on the spot.

2. Online Delivery Orders (Zomato / Swiggy)

For orders placed through Zomato or Swiggy, refund and cancellation policies of those platforms will apply. Please raise any issues directly through the Zomato or Swiggy app.

GWC will cooperate fully with any legitimate refund request raised through these platforms.

Common issues eligible for refund on delivery:

Wrong item delivered

Item missing from order

Significant quality issue (please photograph and report immediately)

Order not delivered

3. Catering & Pre-Booking Cancellations

100% ADVANCE PAYMENT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CATERING BOOKINGS. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

The following cancellation policy applies to all catering and pre-booking orders:

All cancellations must be communicated in writing via WhatsApp or email to [email protected]. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.

4. Rescheduling

Customers may request to reschedule a catering booking subject to GWC’s availability. Rescheduling requests made more than 48 hours before the event will be accommodated at no additional charge (subject to availability). Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the event will be treated as a cancellation and the applicable refund policy will apply.

5. GWC Cancellation of Booking

In the rare event that GWC must cancel a confirmed catering booking due to unforeseen circumstances (equipment failure, emergency, or force majeure), we will:

Notify the customer as soon as possible

Offer a full 100% refund of the advance payment, OR

Offer to reschedule at the customer’s preference

GWC will not be liable for any additional costs or damages beyond the refund of the advance payment.

6. Refund Process

All refunds are processed to the original payment method used (UPI, bank transfer).

Refund timeline: 5-7 business days from the date of refund approval.

7. Quality Concerns

GWC stands behind the quality of every dish we serve. If you have a genuine quality concern about any GWC product:

At our stall: Speak to our crew immediately. We will make it right.

For delivery orders: Contact us within 2 hours of delivery with a photograph of the issue.

For catering: Contact us within 24 hours of the event.

We will investigate every genuine quality complaint and respond within 48 hours.
