What is Ghumne Wala Chicken?
Ghumne Wala Chicken (GWC) is Chandigarh's first dedicated rotisserie BBQ street food experience. We slow roast whole chickens at 360° on an open rotisserie, finish them live with a blowtorch, and serve them with our legendary Boom Sauce. We also serve BBQ rolls, Wild Dogs (hot dogs), long fries, and specialty drinks — all with zero plastic packaging.

We operate our E-Cart at Nirman Theatre Complex, Sector 32D, Chandigarh — top right corner of the complex. We are open Tuesday to Sunday, 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight).

What is Boom Sauce?
Boom Sauce is GWC's signature garlic-based sauce made fresh daily in small batches. It is white, fluffy, and impossibly creamy. The exact recipe is our most closely guarded secret — we will never reveal it. What we can tell you: it is made from natural ingredients, contains no MSG, no artificial additives, and is vegetarian. It pairs perfectly with everything on our menu.
Is Boom Sauce available for delivery?
Boom Sauce (Toum) is available for dine-in only. Due to the delicate nature of the emulsion, it does not travel well and separates during delivery. For delivery orders, we substitute with our House Green Chutney and fresh onions — which is equally delicious.
Do you have vegetarian options?
Yes! GWC has a strong vegetarian menu. Our veg options include: 10" Crunch Fire Veg Roll (charred sweet corn, pickled cucumber, caramelized onions, flame-kissed bell peppers, iceberg crunch), Wild Paneer Roll (charred paneer, Boom Sauce), Crunch Fire Veg Dog (fresh veggies, feta/paneer crumble crown), Wild Paneer Dog (charred paneer, cheese torch finish), Long Fries with Boom Sauce, GWC Special Soda, and GWC Special Lassi.
Do you use MSG in your food?
No. GWC does not use MSG in any of our recipes. We use natural chicken broth powder for umami depth and all-natural spice blends. Our "Zero Harm" philosophy means no artificial additives, ever.
What is a Wild Dog?
A Wild Dog is GWC's signature 25cm savory hot dog — not your regular market hot dog. It features a custom-baked top-split savory bun (zero sugar, sesame-topped) pressed golden-crispy on our hot plate, loaded with filling, and finished live with a blowtorch cheese melt. It is served open-face for the full visual experience.
Are your Long Fries made from frozen fries?
Absolutely not. GWC Long Fries are hand-shaped from a seasoned potato mash blend, double-fried for a shattering crust and cloud-soft inside, and dusted immediately with our GWC BBQ Sprinkle Masala. They are prepared fresh daily.
Can I customise my order?
Yes, to a reasonable extent. You can add cheese (+30), add pickled jalapenos (+20), or request extra Boom Sauce (+20). However, we do not remove core ingredients from our recipes as each item is designed as a complete, balanced experience.
Ordering & Payment
How do I place an order?
Walk up to our E-Cart and place your order directly with our crew. For in-car delivery (car crew service), our crew will come to your car in the parking area. For catering and party pre-bookings, please use our Pre-Booking Form on this website or WhatsApp us.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Cash and UPI payments (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.). Please scan the official GWC QR code displayed on the cart. Our crew does not carry personal QR codes — please do not pay to any code other than the one laminated on our cart.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes, through Zomato and Swiggy. We do not do self-delivery. Please note that some items — including Boom Sauce, GWC Masala Soda, and GWC Special Lassi — are not available for delivery as they do not travel well. Wild Dogs are available for delivery in sealed packaging.
Are your online prices different from stall prices?
Online prices (Zomato/Swiggy) are slightly higher than our stall prices to account for packaging, platform commissions, and delivery preparation. You always get the best price and the best experience at our stall directly.
Packaging & Sustainability
What packaging do you use?
GWC follows a strict Zero Plastic policy. We use areca leaf plates (natural, biodegradable) for dine-in, bagasse (sugarcane fibre) containers for takeaway, double-wall kraft paper cups for drinks, and kraft paper bags. We do not use plastic containers, plastic bags, plastic cups, or styrofoam — ever.
Is your packaging eco-friendly?
Yes. 100% of our packaging is biodegradable, compostable, and made from natural materials (areca leaf, bagasse, bamboo, kraft paper). This is a non-negotiable brand value at GWC.
Do you provide straws?
No. GWC never provides straws or lids for our drinks. Our GWC Special Soda is designed to be sipped directly — this is intentional. The masala floats naturally and every sip delivers the full flavour profile. A straw would hit the bottom and deliver plain soda. Our way is better. Trust us.
Catering & Events
Do you offer catering for events?
Yes! GWC's E-Cart can come to your location for kitty parties, birthday parties, office events, college fests, and private gatherings. Our rotisserie spinning live at your event is a guaranteed conversation starter.
What is the minimum order for catering?
Minimum 4 whole chickens for catering orders. We require 24 hours advance notice and 100% advance payment. Additional items from our menu can be added.
How do I book GWC for my event?
Use our Pre-Booking Form on this website, or WhatsApp us at our official number. We will confirm availability and provide a quote within 24 hours.
Franchise
Do you offer franchises?
GWC franchise opportunities will be available from Phase 3 of our expansion (Year 2-3). We are currently in Phase 1 — establishing our first outlet and perfecting our systems. If you are interested in a future GWC franchise, please fill our Franchise Interest Form and we will contact you when the time comes.
What will a GWC franchise cost?
Franchise details including fee structure, royalty, and investment requirements will be announced during our Phase 3 launch. Expected total investment range: ₹8-10 Lakhs including franchise fee, cart, and working capital.
